The most awaited car of the month from the roaring company of the current era, that is Hyundai and car is Elite i20 has been finally launched in India for under INR 5 Lac. The car has been renewed with all the changes and mechanical too, with all the best features in it to make sure that it could again lead the market like its predecessors. The new Elite i20 will be available in all the 10 trims which are still going on with the predecessors.
Discussing about the features, the car has the same base model with rounded design of the headlights, C-pillar and B-pillar. Along with them, 2 DIN audio, front and rear power windows, body moulding, steering control, electrically adjustable mirrors, rear AC vent and cooled glove air box are some other features to count upon. Mechanically, the car has the 1.2 Litre VTVT engine with 82 bhp power and 113 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine has the 1.4 Litre CRDI engine with 89 bhp power and 220 Nm of torque. The petrol engine has been mated with the 5-speed manual and diesel has the 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
The price of this soon to be famous car starts from INR 4.89 Lac and goes till INR 6.46 Lac for the petrol versions and for the diesel variant, it starts from INR 6.09 Lac and reaches the maximum limit of INR 7.66 Lac. The company has many hopes with this car which will take on the cars like Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Suzuki Ritz and others.
