Hyundai Grand i10 Magna Gets Automatic Transmission

Hyundai has now introduced the AMT version of the Grand i10 Magna, which lies in the mid variant of the line up. The Grand i10 AT is priced at Rs 5.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the top-trim Asta (O) automatic is available at Rs 6.79 lakh. Interestingly, the automaker has discontinued the 1.0-litre LPG variant of the hatchback in the Indian market.

Hyundai has also discontinued the regular Grand i10 Asta trim that didn’t come assembled with ABS. The Asta(O) trim houses all the basic safety features, The price has been revised after the addition of ABS in the petrol version of the Asta variant. Previously, the Asta trim that came without ABS was available at Rs 6.48 lakh and now with the additional ABS, the price has been revised to Rs 6.79 lakh( ex-showroom prices).

The Grand i10 Magna Trim has been missing major features. It lacks basic safety equipments such as airbags and ABS. It also misses parking sensors, start-stop button, electrically adjustable ORVMs, tilt adjustable steering, cooled glove box and rear wash-wipe.

Hyundai has laos discontinued the LPG version of the Grand i10. The petrol version comes powered by a 1.2-litre unit that produces 89bhp with the four-speed AT gearbox and 81bhp with the five-manual transmission setup. The diesel unit delivers 70bhp od maximum power output followed by 160Nm of torque.
