Hyundai is expected to set up its its i20 Active crossover in the Indian automobile market in March third week. This car will arise as an enlarged version of the Elite i20 hatchback that would inherit most of the styling features from the existing vehicle. Recently, the Korean manufacturer has released the sketches of this runabout, which show that it gets latest designing language with new bumper, silver plastic skid pad, large circular fog lamps and projector headlight alongside LED daytime running lights. Hyundai has putted all efforts to make this vehicle much enticing as well as different than ongoing variant, including side body cladding, impressive roof rails and increased ground clearance.
Coming to its rear profile, the i20 Active receives a bigger spoiler, silver skid plate, shark fin antenna, stunning bumper and large reflectors. As the revealed sketched have disclosed only its exterior components, while interior features are yet to be unveiled, that is expected to adorn with different colors and new infotainment system. Beneath the skin, this upcoming runabout is likely to remain same as the Elite i20 and will be powered by the similar 1.2 litre petrol as well as 1.4 litre diesel mill options and both of these engine variants would be mated to a 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual gearbox, respectively.
Notably, the Hyundai i20 Active is anticipated to be priced between INR 6.5-8 Lacs and will compete against the likes of Fiat Avventura, Toyota Etios Cross and VW Cross Polo.
