Hyundai i30 Spotted Again While Testing In India

Last month, the Hyundai i30 spotted for the very first time and many specs and features were speculated. This time around, again the i30 SUV is spotted on Indian roads while testing. The i30 hatchback is likely to come taking more than four meters size and larger engine with high price cost, according to the equipment setup in India.

The company is running the i30 in the country sans-camouflage. The Hyundai was likely testing the components of the Hyundai i30 test mule in India when spotted. The 1.6D badge inscribed on the tailgate shows that the Hyundai i30 is powered by a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine which is able to churn out 136 PS/300 Nm, 136 PS/280 Nm, 110 PS/280 Nm, and 95 PS/280 Nm in different versions.

Globally, the i30 has a petrol and diesel engine choices. Coming to the interior, it has a floating 8.0-inch touchscreen system, minimalistic switchgear, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has many features such as radar-guided cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.

Position:

The new Hyundai i30 hatchback will be placed above the Hyundai i20 in Hyundai’s global line-up.

Rivals:

In the third-generation rivals, the i30 competes against the VW Golf, Honda Civic, Mazda3 and Toyota Auris and Ford Focus RS sedan.

Expected Launch:

The launch date of the SUV is not confirmed by the company yet for India.
