Hyundai Made the Introduction of its Creta in India

Hyundai has unveiled its Chinese spec ix25 in the Indian automobile market for the very first time, where it is christened as the Hyundai Creta. This compact SUV is set to be assembled in India hinting towards its affordable price in order to give a tremendous competition against the likes of the well known vehicles, such as Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and Renault Duster. It has been proclaimed to be available in four distinct versions, Base, S, SX and SX(O).

Coming to the features of its top end versions, they receive a three slat chrome grille, projector headlights, LED DRLs, chrome ornamented registration plate enclosure, rear wiper/washer comprising a micro antenna, 16 inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles with keyless entry. Some exclusive furnishings will be present at the top SX(O) variant, like projector headlights alongside cornering function, 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome slashing for the lower rear end and chrome enclosure for tail lights.

The interior of the upcoming Hyundai Creta will be equipped with an instrument cluster just like the Elite i20, hands free bluetooth connectivity, CD slot and multifuctional steering wheel. Whereas its regular versions will embrace fabric upholstery and a little infotainment display, the high end SX(O) trim will receive leather upholstery, a 7 inch AVN touchscreen display and six airbags.

Power will come from one petrol and two diesel units, in which the former one is powered by a 1.6 dual VTVT unit paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox in order to send 123 PS of produced output to the wheels of this vehicle. The oil burner versions will be machined with a 1.4 litre U2 CRDi and a 1.6 litre CRDi mills. Mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearboxes, the most powerful 1.6 litre CRDi diesel engine will churn out the power of 128 PS.

Hyundai has announced that the Creta will undergo production in Chennai and will also be delivered to the outside of our country. The details regarding its fuel efficiency and price will be revealed during its launch, which has been scheduled for July 21, 2015.
