Hyundai Santro Might Run again on the Indian Roads

Hyundai Santro, which was the most legendary name in the four-wheel segment and whose production ended up sometime back in 2014, is now reported to walk again on the Indian roads. The production of new generation Santro has already been started that could arrive in the country in two years, sources said. Meanwhile, for Hyundai India, the news doesn’t make any sense as they refused all the plans to bring Santro hatch again in the market.

The car first arrived in the country in 1998 and enjoyed its historic sixteen years. Within this great period of time, the model has succeeded to win a lot of buyers' hearts. According to the reports from company's dealers, some consumers have been still showing their interest in this model despite that it has been 2 years since its discontinuation.

It was a great hit in the auto market with recorded sales of around 13.5 lakhs units in the local area as well as around 5.5 Lakhs units were also re-recorded in the export list. At the end of the journey, the Santro has made about 2 millions of total units sales that is also a great chapter of its journey.
