Hyundai To Reveal New Fuel Cell Model At 2018 Winter Olympics

Hyundai, the South Korean car manufacturing company is now all set to debut the latest hydrogen fuel cell technology in the upcoming model at 2018 winter olympics  which will be in the category between a CUV and SUV.

The company’s director of eco-vehicle department Ahn Byung-ki reported the South Korean winter games as the perfect spot for the firm to show off its latest and greatest fuel cell model.

The fuel cell system of the model will acquire a larger battery compared to Hyundai’s 2013 fuel cell driven Tucson and the ix35. The model will also come assembled with  a smaller and lighter fuel cell and electric motor. Despite of getting a reduced size, it will develop higher output than the company’s original swoop into the fuel cell market.

It is difficult to determine the statement of  Ahn Byung-ki about the category of the model between a CUV and SUV. Whatever the reports say, the new model of the company will come in sight at 2018 Winter Olympics before getting launched by the year 2020

The South Korean company has recently announced that it will launch 28 eco-vehicles across the Hyundai, Genesis and Kia brands by the year 2020. The models will consist two fuel cell models, eight electric models, ten hybrids as well as eight plug-in hybrids.
