Hyundai Tucson SUV 2016 is Now Official

As we informed yesterday that Hyundai is going to launch Tucson SUV and that has been done finally. The car will be available for the Geneva Motor Show 2015 for the public interest and I guess the car will have many admirers for sure. The SUV had the name ix35, but the company decided to ditch it for Tucson and hence has relaunched the name Tucson after replacing it with the Santa Fe. Coming back to the features, the car has a lot to discuss about like autonomous emergency braking system, lane keeping assist system, blind spot detection, speed limit information system and three operation modes that is Pedestrian, City and Inter-urban.

On the exteriors, this SUV is decent 4,475 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,645 mm in height with huge 2,670 mm of wheelbase. With all seats in their place, its boot capacity is around 513 Litres. Under the bonnet, the car is available in 2 petrol and 2 diesel engines, namely 1.6 Litre GDI with 135 PS mated with 6-speed manual transmission system, 1.6 Litre T-GDI with 176 PS with same transmission or 7-Speed DCT, 1.7 Litre diesel powerhouse with 115 PS and 6-speed manual transmission system and one last 2.0 Litre diesel engine available in 136 PS and 184 PS tune paired 6-speed manual transmission system & 6-speed automatic transmission system.

Tucson SUV 

The car will be developed at the company's Czech Republic plant and it'll be on sale in the European market by the second half of the year. The price and the more details are expected to be disclosed at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, which is due to start from March 5 for the general population.
