The 2016 Mercedes E-Class Long Wheelbase has finally made its global debut at the ongoing 2016 Beijing Motor Show ( Auto china 2016). This is said to be the stretched version of the 5th generation Mercedes E-Class model W213, which has been manufactured to provided better comfort and luxury options for the rear seat passengers and also ensuring more space.
The length is 140mm longer i.e around 5,063 mm in comparison to the standard wheelbase 2016 Mercedes E-Class. With the wheelbase stretched by 140mm that goes up to 3,079 mm, the rear seat passengers can easily afford a legroom of extra 134 mm. The saloon features a classic radiator grille in the front along with distinctive headlamps underpinned by clear-lens design.
All rear seats get folding armrests followed by cupholders plus USB port as standard. Moreover, the company has also introduces an optional extended version of centre console that comes equipped with a temperature controlled-cup holder. The new Mercedes Benz E-Class LWB is reported to be launched in India by 2017.
