Ford has decided to set up its new Everest (aka Endeavour) in Philippines and the launch is expected to take place on May 7, while this SUV has already been showcased at the 2015 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Last month, the American manufacturer made the global premiere of this runabout at the Bangkok International Motor Show and its price range is varied from INR 24.27 Lacs to INR 30.58 Lacs. As per the proclamation, it has been ratified that the vehicle will be available in one petrol variant as well as two oil burner options.
The diesel version is powered by a 2.2 litre four cylinder engine and a 3.2 litre five cylinder unit, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both choices are likely to render superb outputs to render splendid speed and magnificent fuel efficiency on the highway and in city condition. Coming to its equipments, the Ford Endeavour has been featured with a Terrain Management System, projector headlights, powered third row seats, a 9 speaker audio system alongside a sub woofer and company's new SYNC2 infotainment system including 8 inch touchscreen display.
Notably, the SUV is anticipated to be released in India by the end of this ongoing year, while prior to its launch, Ford has commenced testing of this runabout in our country. Here, it is about to be priced from INR 20 Lacs to INR 25 Lacs and will compete against the likes of the Isuzu MY-7, Hyundai Santa Fe, Sssangyong Rexton, Toyota Fortuner and Honda CR-V.
