Indian Chieftain Dark Horse Unveiled in India Priced at Rs 31.99 Lakhs

Indian Motorcycles has updated their Chief family portfolio with the launch of its latest bike the Chieftain Dark Horse. This new model is specially designed, keeping the requirements of touring enthusiasts in mind.

The Chieftain is blessed with a sober design language, which makes it a bit different from other cruiser models of the company. The chassis, fuel tank, engine, forks, fairing and fenders are contrasting beautifully with a matte black finish and chromed exhaust. The bluetooth audio system is like a cherry on the cake for the bike and a digital display is also provided by the company with a tank-mounted instrument console.

The devil is powered by a 1811 cc air-cooled ‘Thunder-stroke’ v-twin engine, which is capable of delivering a maximum torque of 139 Nm with the help of a 6-speed transmission unit. The company has also provided 300mm disc brake at both of the 16-inch spoke wheels of the bike. The bike comes with many other attractive features including ABS, cruise control, keyless start, tyre pressure monitoring system and remote locking saddle bags.

The company also allows the rider to select other accessories along with the bike according to their use. This cruiser bike by the company will compete the Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special, Moto Guzzi MGX-21, and the Honda Gold Wing GL1800 Cruisers.
