ISUZU Recalls D-Max V-Cross Pickup in India

ISUZU Motors India has released a statement regarding the recall of D-Max V-Cross pickup over the engine vibration problem. According to the Japanese carmaker, some owners are reported about the engine vibration issue at some RPM. The company said this issue can be resolved by a software update of the ECU.

ISUZU India notified to all their D-Max V-Cross owners to bring their vehicles to the service center for the inspection and update, even who are not reported any complain or have not experienced such issue yet. So, if you owns an ISUZU D-Max V-Cross pickup get the necessary update done from the authorised service center.

A spokesperson from the company said, “We had received feedback from some D-MAX V-Cross customers who were experiencing engine vibrations at some RPM levels. This was checked internally and the issue has been resolved by remapping the ECU. The process is simple and takes approximately 30 minutes and has resulted in much better performance of the engine. The same has been extended to other customers who have not reported the issue”.

Beneath the hood, the D-Max V-Cross gets a 2.5-litre CRDi engine that churns out a maximum power of 136bhp along with 320Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Moreover, the vehicle also features a dial-type 4WD mode.

Although, D-Max V-Cross is a good utility and lifestyle vehicle with the limited audience in the country. And such problem resolving step will further strengthen the company trust among the buyers.
