Jaguar Adduced F-Type Manual and AWD Models

The British multinational car manufacturer, Jaguar has brought out its all wheel drive F-Type vehicle with the latest options of dynamic electric steering and the manual transmission. The brand will enhance the units of this runabout from 6 to 14 by revealing these variants at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Spilling the beans about all wheel drive system, it comes with three F-Type convertibles as well as three F-Type coupe models. The system will be available alongside the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics Control System of the company to bestow the all relevant utilizations of AWD including the key supporting dynamics and the DNA of the carriage.

Under normal driving situation, the new optional AWD system will be capable to transfer 100 percent of torque to the rear wheels. If the technology analyzes that transferred torque is extra regarding the requirements of the rear wheels, then the rest of the torque will be sent to the front axle via electronically controlled centre, which grips the traction control. The 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine powered F-Type R Coupe with the all wheel drive will mark 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Coming to he manual gearbox, the company will be bringing this variant as per the demand of the customers and it is the first manual sports car by Jaguar since 1970 that gets an exclusive supercharged 3.0 litre V6 mill.

The chief engineer of vehicle integrity at Jaguar, Mike Cross said, The short throw of the gear lever, the mechanical quality of the shift, pedal spacing ideally suited to heel-and-toe changes, the tune of the V6 supercharged engine itself – all have been subject to detailed scrutiny to ensure driving a manual F-TYPE is as fun as it is fast.”
