Jaguar Set up its XF Aero-Sport in India

The British car brand Jaguar, has launched a special edition of its XF model with the name 'Jaguar XF Aero-Sport' for the Indian market. This all new model is likely to be priced at INR 52 Lacs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai, Pre-Octroi). The powertrain of 2.2 litre diesel unit will be derived from the regular XF model while there will be certain changes in the exterior portion of the vehicle. According to Mr Rohit Suri, the President of Jaguar Land Rover India, “Jaguar XF is known for its dynamic design, impeccable performance, refined drive and effortless power. The unique design enhancements on XF Aero-Sport will further endear the model to our customers looking to own an exclusive Jaguar luxury, Sports saloon.”

From outside, the saloon carries an elegant look highlighting the finely chromed, black coloured grille. Some other tweaked features on the exterior portion include a new bumper, rear spoiler and R-style side sills. Coming to the interior part, there are plenty of high-tech features available. The cabin of this saloon boasts of an infotainment system with touchscreen facility and navigation system. The interior also gets a supple leather upholstery along with aluminium surface.

This upcoming sports saloon will be powered by a 2.2 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine generating 140 Kilowatts of power at the rate of 3500 rpm and a torque of 450 Nm at the rate of 2000 rpm. An eight-speed automatic transmission system will be available in the model. It is claimed to be a fuel efficient and high performance vehicle, accelerating upto 100km/hour in just 8.5 seconds.

Reportedly, this model will be available in four different shades, which will include-Ultimate Black, Polaris White, Odyssey Red and Sapphire Blue.
