Jeep Compass Trailhawk Expect A Launch In India Lately In 2018

The Trail Rated version of the Jeep Compass will be reached in India in sometime between 2018. The India-spec version of Jeep Compass Trailhawk will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel which is mated to a manual gearbox and a 1.4-litre petrol version will be mated to an auto version than comparing with Australia-spec version to mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep company has not assured any specs right now in the Trailhawk version. According to the company, the new model is under construction and as the Pune based manufacturer FCA plant produces and exports to all markets, Jeep can equip the new Trailhawk with the choice of features from the available bucket of specs in the country.

Generally, the Trail rated Jeeps are manufactured by enabling tough terrain as compared to the standard Jeeps version and come handy with a loaded feature of serious off-road kit. The Jeep Compass Trail rated version takes a new \'Rock Mode\' in relation to its Selec-Terrain 4WD system and Active Drive low-range 4WD of Jeep.

It is 20mm higher as compared to the standard variant and receives different front and rear bumpers that provide a better outlook and departure angles that reach at 33.6 degrees (departure), 24.4 degrees (breakover), and 30 degrees (approach). The trail rated version is equipped with hill descent control like the standard version as well.

Comparing with the standard variant, the trail rated version will get a black painted anti-glare bonnet decal, all-weather floor mats, the Trailhawk badging, the Trail Rated badging, unique alloy wheels, underbody skid plates, and signature red recovery hooks.
