Sales Report June 2018: RE Classic 350 Tops, Check other Motorcycles in 200-500cc

The sales report for June 2018 has been released. The market response has been remained mixed for various manufacturers. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 which has topped the list of major sales in June 2018 in 200-500cc segment with almost four times sales of its closest competitor. The top two motorcycles are from Royal Enfield, the Classic 350 and the Bullet 350 in terms of sales figures both have managed to gain sales in positive with 50,246 and 13,029 units, but in terms of percentage share the Bullet 350 saw a hike of 2 percent in place of 1 percent dip in Classic 350 share.

The Bajaj range of Pulsar models including Pulsar 180, NS 200 and RS 200 observed a plunge of 13 percent in sales with the total of 12,045 units sold in June 2018. The Pulsar 220 which gets fourth position managed to dispatch 7259 units with a increase of 9 percent.

The two other models from RE gets the fifth and sixth positions. which are Thunderbird 350 and the Classic 500 respectively with sales of 5232 units; 21 percent and 2328 units;2%. The Bajaj Avenger 180 and Avenger 220 which also gained in sales managed to sold out 5463 units in June 2018. They are on seventh place. While, the Austrian bikemaker KTM designated at eight spot with models-Duke 200 and RC 200 got dispatched 2830 units collectively with a rise of 11 percent against last month.

The Yamaha FZ25 and the Bajaj Dominar respectively holding the ninth and tenth position with a hike in sales of 13 percent/2088 units sold and 7 percent/1277 units as compared to the last month.

In the list of June 2018 sales, the RE Enfield led the 200-500cc segment from its models like RE Classic 350 and RE Bullet 350. The Chennai based manufacturer was followed by Bajaj motorcycles with a rise in Pulsar sales. Is really market sensing some sort of changes in audience purchase style or is this the case owing to an isolated month. The future will tell.
