Kawasaki Motors India has officially launched the Kawasaki ER-6n on the Indian ground. The ER-6n is a naked sports motorcycle which is nowhere less than any other sporty motorcycle. Well, along with the launching news of the newly introduced naked motorcycle, another appreciating thing is that the ER-6n doesn’t belong to the either Ninja Series or Z-Series family. It's a complete new version of naked motorcycle which has entered in India. However, the Kawasaki ER-6n also shares some of the cosmetic components from the Ninja 650.
Let's me help you to roll your eyes over the technical specifications of the Kawasaki ER-6n. The naked sports motorcycle is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which gives an engine displacement of 649cc. The power plant is coupled with a 6-speed transmission via a drive chain and is capable to pump out a total power of 71.1 BHP @ 8500RPM and a peak torque of 63.7 NM @ 7000RPM. The Kawasaki ER-6n shares the very same technical specifications from the Ninja 650. The stopping power has been taken care by disc brakes but you will be missing ABS, instead of paying so much for this naked sports motorcycle.
The firm has designed this motorcycle to give a whole new naked look to the Ninja 650. The ER-6n is featuring the very same seat, rear view mirrors, tyres, tail part and the identical fuel tank, which have been used in the Ninja 650. The major difference between both the motorcycles is that the ER-6n carries a naked sports personality and receives a new instrument cluster as well. The Kawasaki ER-6n has finally launched making a new mark as naked sports motorcycle in the two-wheeler industry.
The Kawasaki ER-6n is launched carrying a price tag of Rs 4.78 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The newly launched motorcycle will be making its appearance at the pro-biking showrooms all across the country and will be available through CKD kits. The firm is also offering only one and single color, i.e. Black and might introduce new shades in future.
