Kawasaki to Start assembling of Z1000 and Ninja 1000 Soon in India

The Japanese bike maker, Kawasaki is now focusing toward to make its litre class flagship 1000cc bikes- Kawasaki Z1000 and Ninja 1000, more obtainable for the Green bike lovers in the country. The international outfit is considering for the establishment of an assembling facility for these prior mentioned diabolically fast and quick 1000cc displacement beasts. As for now, the CBU produced Z1000 and Ninja 1000 carrying the price tag of Rs. 12.5 lakh, which is exclusively applicable at Delhi showrooms.

With the introduction of assembling set up, the bikes will witnessed the reduction of approx 1.5 lakh Indian rupee and will be retailed at a handy price tag of Rs 11 lakh ex-showroom. This reduction will also give the opportunity of upgradation to the Kawasaki Z800 owners from the 1000cc naked and sports offerings- Z1000 and Ninja 1000.

Sources reports the information that all the components will be imported all the way from Japan and not a single Indian components will be equipped while assembling of the bikes in the country. The probable assembling of the bikes is expected to start in the upcoming two or three month this year at the Pune based Akurdi facility of the Japanese venture.

In actual, Kawasaki is going on the foot marks of its native competitor company, Suzuki. As Suzuki already started the assembling of its flagship superbike- Hayabusa in the first quarter of this year at its Manesar based production facility. The India assembled Suzuki Hayabusa affluents with some extra components for rider’s aid as per the requirement of Indian RTO rules and of Indian attire. Now, the CKD built GSX1300R offering is carrying the price tag approx 2 lakh cheaper than its CBU produced offering in India. The Hayabusa is directly in the face off with the Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R, which is nearer INR 5 lakh more expensive than CKD offered Suzuki Hayabusa. But as for now, the Green giant is not focusing on the assembling of Ninja ZX14R and Ninja ZX10R for Indian market.
