Kawasaki's Oil-Cooled Electric Bike Underworks

Basically known for rolling out high-end performance bikes, the Japan-based green giant-Kawasaki is going to bring something new. Reportedly, it has been known that Kawasaki is working on an electric bike to go eco-friendly. The major reason behind this development is the evidently growing serious pollution issue worldwide. As for now, the launch date for this upcoming electric bike is not revealed. Still, the expected introduction might take place sometimes in next year.

As the traditional petrol engined motorcycles uses oil cooling setup to keep the motor’s temperature low. The Kawasaki also find out a new oil cooling plan for this latest electric motorbike. From the surfaced design patents, it is clearly visible a large, two-piece cooling system is integrated with the new motor. As per the sources, the working description of this new electric motor says the radiator and pump discharge oil around the outer casing of the moving parts that will help to keep the motor’s high temperature in check and maintain it beyond extreme rising. The powering batteries of the bike are mounted towards the top of the bike’s layout beneath the fake fuel tank to balance the weight of the heavy electric motor up to the optimum point low down.

Moreover, an interesting state from the another leak is that the setup will not only serve the motorcycle but efficiently can be used for a small truck and on large terrain vehicles also. In Spite of that, it is suitable for a hybrid setup which is in collaboration with a small petrol powered engine for extra power generation.
