KTM 1290 Super Duke GT Spied Again While Trials in Australia

It seems that the Australian bike maker, KTM Duke is gearing up to big bang in International market by launching a tourer bike, KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, as the bike has been spotted many time. Now this time, the bike has been caught in Australia during testing by engineers running two test mules.

According to the spied image, the Australian manufacturer has put a lot of endeavor to develop a proper touring prototype. The touring motorcycle gets a windscreen and taller handlebars to look like a tourer model. It will come with sports-touring tyres, designed front LED light and side mounted three stage LED lights. It also seems that the bike is inspired by its sibling-1290 Super Duke and 1290 Super Adventure that are comfortable for long distance riding.

Mechanically, The bike will deliver the power by a 1301cc motor. The V-Twin engine will be able to make a maximum power of 158 BHP. As per the spied image, the bike will offer a dynamic stability power as it is featured with substantial steel trellis subframe. It is designed to support the extra load of heavy luggage.

The spied bike of KTM will be launched at the upcoming motor show, 2015 EICMA show that will be held in November at Milan in Italy. The KTM 1290 Super Duke GT will compete against Ducati Mustistrada, BMW R1200 and Harley-Davidson's Forty-Eight.
