KTM 250 Duke and RC250 Commercial Arrived, Readying for Launch

The KTM DUKE/RC quarter-liter siblings are silently readying for their official arrival in the global market. The firm has recently released a commercial showcasing both the motorcycles riding all over around the city streets, doing cornering at some places and minor stunts as well. The manufacturer has given a new tagline to the promotional video "KTM's new "Two-fifties" on their way". The lately released video completely puts the duo on display and one can see them in action among the city streets of Thailand. Another fascinating thing I've found is that the KTM Duke/RC 200, both are missing from the KTM's Austrian website. This gives another vindication of the nearing launch of the quarter-liter siblings.

For a quick glance the KTM 250 Duke and RC250 will be housing an identical quarter-liter motor. Both are featuring a single-cylinder motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 249cc; coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The liquid-cooled engine is tuned by the Austrian boffins to fetch a churning power of 33.9 BHP and achieves a peak torque of 24Nm. Being a quarter-liter engined sports motorcycles, both are capable to achieve increased power and torque figure for obvious reasons.
