Lamborghini Aims to Build Avantador SV Roadster

The most performance oriented energetic supercar, Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce (SV) is all set to be launched in the roadster variant that has recently been confirmed to undergo production. This confirmation was made by the CEO of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann at the Goodwood Festival. Total 500 units of this runabout are likely to be unveiled and all will inherit the mechanical specification from its coupe model. It is expected to be powered by a 6.5 litre V12 engine, which will be very impressive in conferring a top speed of more than 217 miles per hour before getting accelerated from zero to 100 km/h under 3 seconds.

This upcoming roadster will be more aerodynamic and lighter than the existing one to render more impressive performance for the enthusiasts on the way. The vehicle will get carbon ceramic brakes, six pot callipers, variable ratio steering system. Officially, the manufacturer hasn't revealed any pictures of its Avaentador SV roadster yet as it's planning to bring this model in front of the public at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August.

The customers will be able to reserve their preferable variants after its showcasing event. Mr. Winkelmann said, “If I have to put a pound on one segment, then I would do it on the SUV. This is the segment of the future. People want to sit higher, and it’s also the sector where you have much more opportunities without getting into too tight a corner in terms of the power-to-weight ratio.”
