Lamborghini India To Launch Huracan Spyder on 5th May 2016

Lamborghini India has made official announcement regarding the launch of its new Huracan Spyder in the Indian market. The launch will take place on this 5th May at the newly inaugurated Mumbai Showroom.

The Spyder is said to be based on the sibling named Huracan LP 610-4 coupe, which shares identical powertrain and transmission. It gets a 6.2L V10 motor that effectively produces a maximum power of 602 bhp followed by a peak torque of 560 Nm. The engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox, offering all-wheel drive. The automaker claims that the spyder is capable of sprinting 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds.

Additionally, Lamborghini has added a hydraulically controlled soft-top roof panel that can be easily lowered or raised in less than 20 seconds. The roof can be also be operated while on the go. The aerodynamics have been improved in order to facilitate better airflow across the engine, keeping it cool. The Spyder also sports two additional fins that rises from the rear.

We are excited to see the supercar soon in India. It is expected to be priced at Rs 3.43 Crore (ex-showroom).
