After launching the Standard Huracan Coupe, Spyder and Avio, the Italian auto major Lamborghini has come up with a new variant of the same for further expanding its Huracan range in India. Labelled as Huracan RWD Spyder, the supercar is a drop top version of the regular Coupe and is available at the price of INR 3.45 Crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Also called as Huracan LP580-2 Spyder, it made its first public debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show and has been on sale in the European market.
Powering this raging bull is the Lamborghini’s 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 motor good for 580 Bhp of power with a peak torque of 540 Nm. For better transmission, a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox is there picking the engine up to dispatch the power to rear wheels only through a rear mechanical self-locking differential. As the automaker claims, the new trim can do 0 to 100 kmph of sprint in 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 324 kmph.
Based on the Huracan Family, this will not you surprise much that the new sibling shared its more or less design with its other siblings. Over the details, it comes with the same exterior profile except a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes and a slightly improved rear end in order to distinguish from the others. What’s most interesting feature is a new set of sports tyres sourced from Pirelli PZero and wrapped around 19-inch KARI silver alloy wheels. Inside, it has got the Lambo’s latest infotainment facility with a 12.3-inch display.
Bookings for the rear wheel drive Lamborghini Huracan Spyder have been started accepting at the dealership however one will have to wait for at least four months to lay one's hands on the wheels.
