Lamborghini to Introduce Limited Edition Aventador SV Roadster

The renowned automaker Lamborghini has announced that a new limited edition coupe is going to debut soon. This model will be previewed at Pebble Beach in the Monetary Car Week to be held in August. It will be the roadster version of Aventador SV model which made its debut recently in the month of June. This upcoming model will employ the powertrain under the hood as the current coupe. However, there will be certain tweaks on the exterior portions of the upcoming supercar. This is the first time that the company is going to introduce a convertible model as an SV variant.

From outside, this supercar gets an all new rear diffuser along with revised front and rear bumpers. The wheels are specially designed in black colour which further beautifies the coupe's look. On the other hand, the interior will flaunt a carbon fibre trimming on the seats and other portions. A digital instrument cluster will also be seen in the cockpit and seats will be be covered in leather as well as Alcantara.

As mentioned above, the powertrain will remain unchanged with the same 6.5 litre, V12 engine. As opposed to the regular Aventador torqued at 690 Nm, this upcoming car will deliver torque measuring 740 Nm. This engine will be mated to a seven-speed automated manual gearbox linked to an AWD setup. Moreover, it is likely to weigh 50 kg lesser than the Aventador Roadster. As a result, it will offer an unmatched acceleration of 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.
