Land Rover is introducing an amazing concept which the company is launching in its upcoming Discovery Vision car. The concept car with this ultra high technology was introduced in New York Auto Show 2014 few days ago. The technology is named Transparent Bonnet. This new concept will provide you the facility of viewing the landscape which can allow you to see through bonnet and engine.
All Off-road vehicle's drivers face problem in viewing the terrain while driving on mountains and somewhere in climbing areas. Land Rover has removed this hitch and brought its new concept of transparent bonnet in its upcoming SUV. It uses the camera which is located in front grille and project the terrain view on the head up display. It makes the bonnet virtually transparent. This feature is perfectly good for SUVs which run off the road. Land Rover will introduce this technology in Discovery Vision Concept car.
Director of research at Jaguar-Land Rover, Wolfgang Epple said, "It will help them tackle anything from the toughest off-road route to the tight confines of an urban car park."
