Land Rover Turns Local With Price Cut in India

Tata Motors owned British car manufacturer Land Rover has started to assemble cars in its Pune plat for the Indian market and hence there has been reduction in the price of its range, which earlier were though to be overpriced as the cars brought to India via CBU route. The very first locally assembled car that has been launched is Land Rover Range Rover Evoque at a Ex-Showroom price of INR 48.73 Lac for Mumbai. This step will surely boom the sales of the manufacturer who already is a famous name among the luxury car buyers and the Indian market is offering all time high demand for the luxury cars these days. Available in both 3 door and 5 door variants, only the 5-door is getting assembled locally for now and will be available in all 3 trims, that is Pure, Dynamic and Prestige.

At the launch, Mr. Rohit Suri, President of JLR India said “We believe that India is market that offers significant opportunities for both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. I am pleased to announce the broadening of our locally manufactured portfolio, with the introduction of the Range Rover Evoque.” He further added that “It is already popular with Indian customers and we will now offer this SUV at an even more competitive price point standing at INR 48.73 Lac, Ex-Showroom, Mumbai.
