Japanese car maker's luxury brand Lexus is making plans out for the year 2015 and it'll be starting with a couple of launches at the next month's Detroit Motor Show. The cars that will be launched are believed to be Lexus GS F and RX SUV. It would be the facelift version of already selling RX SUV with the 3rd row seat. This need of extra has been the submitted by the North American market and for launching this, production plans of RC F coupe have been packed up by the company. The is new SUV will also be tweaked in terms of size and shape as well.
The other features that will distinguish the outgoing car from this facelift will be the changes done on mechanical parts that will majorly include new 8-speed transmission system replacing the current 6-speed automatic transmission gear box. This year in 2015, The Lexus will also come to India as well, as the market is showing great opportunities for the luxury car market in India.
However, the launch date, price and even the model hasn't been decided yet by the company, but Toyota has hinted that the current market trend is the best suited for the launch of its luxury car brand in India.
