It seems like the Mahindra Two Wheelers, an Indian group venture from Mahindra & Mahindra is getting prepared for its new launch soon in the country's two-wheeler market. The company confirmed about the new scooter launch codenamed as- G108 shortly this month. It's kind of surprising that Mahindra completely put itself in disguise behind the development of this offering to the auto world. No concrete information about the scooter has been heard yet and not even any prototype of the same seen around. If we look towards the case of Mojo, the scenario was totally opposite.
Though, much details are not there about the G108, but still a small tittle-tattle is gearing up on the internet that it will be the 125cc version of the Mahindra's popular model Gusto. If this assumption gets to be true, the new Tourer could share similar features as the Gusto is having like height adjustable seat, remote flip key etc. It is to be reckoned that Mahindra Gusto is doing a quite good job in the Indian two-wheeler market and therefore it could be a nice move by the company to raise up the volume of sales.
We can assume that the new G108 has been specially designed for women and will give a tough competition to the Honda Activa i and Yamaha Ray. One of the top chiefs of the company affirmed about the proposal of the new 110cc platform models during the launch of Mahindra Gusto, and G108 is a part of the same project.
