Mahindra KUV100 Set To be Launched in Nepal by April End

Mr Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive – Automotive Division, has recently revealed that the KUV100 model will be exported to Nepal by the end of April 2016. As the Model is in to high demand in the domestic country itself, therefore, the automaker is trying to strengthen its presence in the overseas market as well. In Nepal, the model will be sold via Agni Incorporated, which is one of the authorized distributor of Mahindra Vehicles.

Presently, the company is focusing on increasing the production rate at the Chakan plant, where the car is being manufactured. As of now, the KUV100 is available at a starting price of INR 4.42 Lakhs in the Indian market.

Mahindra KUV100 is based on a new front-wheel drive platform, and comes with a choice of two mFalcon engines: a 1.2-litre G80 petrol unit that churns out 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. while, the 1.2-litre D75 diesel unit that develops 77 bhp power output along with 190 Nm of torque. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is claimed to deliver mileage of up to 18.15 kmpl (petrol unit) and 25.32 km/l (diesel unit).
