Mahindra Quanto AMT Likely to be Set Up in July in India

Mahindra and Mahindra is aiming to add a new transmission system to the existing Quanto MPV while giving some noteworthy touches for its cosmetic parts. We know that the customers are waiting for this variant from that time, whenever they got a news that the Indian company has been started working on this vehicle and now, they will be happy after knowing that it's anticipated to be rolled out in July 2015. Spilling the beans about its exterior, which will have redesigned headlights, bumpers, grille and new alloy wheels that would make it much better than the predecessor.

Modifications will be applied to its interior too with Bluetooth enabled audio system and latest seats alongside added support to bestow more comfortable seating for the occupants during traveling. Beneath the skin, the Mahindra Quanto AMT is about to be powered by the same 1.5 litre three cylinder twin scroll turbocharged diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 100 bhp at 3750 rpm and peak torque of 240 Nm between 1600 to 2800 rpm in the current one.

However, 5-speed manual transmission will be replaced by 5-speed AMT as per seeing the demand for the automatic cars in the Indian automobile market. Its ongoing version is available in the country between the price range of INR 6.5 Lacs to INR 8 Lacs and the upcoming AMT model seems to be priced slightly higher with regard to this existing one.
