Mahindra to Set Up Ssangyong Korando in India This Year

Yes, as always it hasn't ignored the customers needs as the market report says that the manufacturer is considering to launch its Ssangyong Korando in India this year. It is expected to be priced competitively to take on the likes of the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and the upcoming Hyundai ix25.

This model was updated in August 2013 with redesigned headlights alongside projector lights, latest grille, new bumper, stunning alloy wheels and a magnificent instrument console including soft touch fabrics. In Korea, the Korando is powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine as well a 2.0 litre diesel unit and both of these powertrains are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol variant makes the power of 149 PS, while the oil burner option is good for two output states of 149 PS and 175 PS.

Security has also been improved to keep the passengers safe from any kind of physical wound with 6 airbags, Hill Start Assist, an electronic active head restraint, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, rear parking sensors, ABS and EBD. Notably, the price of this forthcoming compact SUV is likely to be varied from INR 10 Lacs to INR 15 Lacs in our country.
