Mahindra XUV500 SUV Facelift in Works

Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra's famous SUV XUV500 is all set to go under a series of changes for its upcoming facelift version. The vehicle has already been spied many times on the road and the changes will be overall from inside to outside and in mechanical parts as well. Recently, the car has been spotted with the camouflage over the various parts of its body, such as front bumper, rear tailgate, dashboard and wheels as well. However, it's very unlikely to comment on the mechanical nature of the SUV, but the rumors believes that it could be an automatic version with same the diesel engine, a petrol variant or even a hybrid mule as well.

Talking about the changes, the car will get tweaked rear tailgate, front bumper and revised wheels as well. The base outline of the SUV will remain same though. Coming to the interiors, the car is about to get new dashboard version and a few more changes to increase the lavish percentage as well. Also, Mahindra could also use a 6-speed automatic gearbox from its Indian co-partner SsangYong's Tivoli crossover too.

Although, the company hasn't announced anything official about Mahindra XUV500 facelift, displayed it at Auto Expo 2014 though. Still, most of the details are under the wraps and we'll share them with you as soon as we get them.
