Mahindra's Coupe-inspired XUV Aero Unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo

Mahindra has revealed the XUV Aero model which is a coupe concept at the ongoing 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The concept has been designed by Mahindra's own domestic design team. However, It has been developed by Pininfarina. The concept holds a similar design language found on Scorpio, KUV100, XUV500, and TUV300. This Coupe-inspired crossover is powered by a 1.99-litre diesel engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power output of 140bhp. By launching this concept, Mahindra has become India's first ever automaker to land into the list of prominent SUV manufacturers targeting mass-market.

Mahindra XUV Aero concept

This 3-door crossover comes with a sleek and compact design, decorated with special suicide door styling. The wheel arches look flared and uncommon. The rear portion features wide windscreen along with elegant tail lights. Additionally, It gets installed with Mahindra's connectivity features.

It also comes with latest combustion system and low pressure EGR. Moreover, the company claims that the new XUV Aero is capable of attaining the 100km/h mark in just 6 seconds.
