Manufactured in India, and exported to more than 100 countries across the globe, new Maruti Baleno has established certain sales records. It has touched the record of more than 4 lakh sales in 3 years since it launched in Oct 2015.
Currently, the Baleno is known as the best car in the segment. The one lakh sales were recorded by the company in a year. With the increasing demand, the 3rd and 4th lakh are recorded so early. The Maruti Baleno is now the quickest premium hatchback to reach such a record sales in a short time.
The Baleno is available in 1.3-liter diesel, 1.2-liter petrol and 1.0-liter BoosterJet petrol engine choices in the country. It is powered by a 1.2-liter Dualjet engine along with SHVS in Europe, however, it is not sure that variant will be available in India or not.

The Baleno is introduced in many countries and available with a distinctive chrome bar, keyless entry, and chrome plated door handles. The hatchback also comes with a roof spoiler, parking camera at the rear and 16” alloy wheels.
Coming to the safety, the Baleno takes projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, steering mounted controls, automatic climate controls, ABS with EBD, Apple CarPlay, a 7” touchscreen AVN system and dual front airbags.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is available with a price tag of Rs. 5.47 lakhs to 8.64 lakhs. Coming to the dimensions, the Maruti Suzuki hatchback measures 1,745 mm in width, 3,995 mm in length, and 1,500 mm in height. The wheelbase is long and measures 2,520 mm. The Baleno competes the Hyundai Elite i20 in the market.
