Maruti Suzuki Ciaz New Variant Might Launch Soon

The famous home-grown automaker Maruti Suzuki launched the Ciaz sedan a few months back to rival Honda City, but the plan has failed as Ciaz was not able to leave any mark on the market. Now, the company is trying to revive the car and that plan might include launching a new variant of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in sometime. There also are some reports claiming that the facelift or limited version of the car is already under way and will be launched with 2 major changes that are LED DRLs and white strip on center of the bonnet at front.

The current Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes with 1.3 Litre diesel and 1.4 Litre petrol engine are supposed to be same on the possible upcoming variant of the Ciaz. There could also be some more changes on the car, but for now only the above mentioned ones are known. Still, to make it a rival of Honda City, Maruti has to do a lot more rather than just coming up with some changes only.

Currently the company is selling 5000 Ciaz units with some month dipping to 3500-4000 units as well, where the City is selling at around 6000 unit per month. The other cars like Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Vento are still way behind in the competition and Ciaz has to capitalize on this gap.
