Just one day after the launch of a special edition of the company's famous hatchback car Ritz Elate, Maruti Suzuki has introduced another special edition of its effective MPV Ertiga at a price of INR 6.75 Lac. The car has many changes inside and outside of the car with some mechanical changes as well. When contacted, the officials said that the special edition has been launched to celebrate the successful selling of the 1.5 Lac units of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
The limited edition has a few exterior changes like new pearl blaze blue paint, chrome plated handles, rear spoiler, sleek chrome grille, 10-spoke alloy wheel, sporty body decals and graphics just for the limited edition. The interior includes dual tone dashboard with attached audio system, enhanced audio system, more powerful AC with air vents for the second row, reverse parking sensor and digital display, wooden trimmed instrument panel, exclusive floor mats for the limited edition and more enhanced inside comfort as well. Mechanically, one engine, that is a 1.3 Litre DDiS diesel with 89 bhp power and 200 Nm torque is same, while the other is 1.4 Litre K-series VVT petrol engine with 93.7 bhp power and 130 Nm torque.
Both the engines have the same 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the choice of many people who are looking to buy a decent MPV for them. However, the new Honda Mobilio could hit the sales, but the special edition step is surely a wise one from the company to stay in the hunt.
