Maruti Suzuki Launches Special Edition of S-Cross, Named Premia

S-Cross, a compact SUV that was recently launched in August this year through the newly launch Nexa premium dealership. Now, the India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki, has launched a limited edition of the S-Cross in the country today that has been stamped as Premia. The new edition will be sold in the country at Rs. 8.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). With the Premia, the company is eyeing on the sales volume. Moreover, it has been positioned below the standard Delta trim which retails for Rs. 9.15 lakhs.

S-Cross Premia is based on Delta Trim DDiS 200 version and comes featured with some additional components that include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Airbags, reverse parking sensors with a camera, alloy wheels, fog lamps and a Garmin navigation system. In addition to new components, the manufacture has not made any changes in the car.

In terms of technical bits, the S-Cross remains the same as it powered by the 1.3 litre diesel motor that churns out 90 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. All the power is kept under controlled by a 5 speed transmission. Whereas, the 1.6 liter diesel motor is available for the option that yields 118 BHP of power and 320 Nm of torque. All the power of this motor sent to the front wheeler via six speed transmission.
