Maruti Suzuki Swift Deca Edition Teaser Released

Inspired from the current-gen Maruti Swift, the special-edition model of the car is what the Indian automaker is working upon at the moment. Here’s the teaser of the upcoming variant flaunting the importance of number ‘10’. You can also see a ‘Deca’ written on a keychain that is being held by a key fob.

If musing about the story behind number 10, let us make it clear to you. It upholds a special meaning for the football enthusiasts. Legendary players like Leo Messi, Zinedine Zidane, Pele and Wayne Rooney put on the jerseys imprinted ‘10’ on it. For a layman, it is a mark of greatness and a prominent term in sports. The country’s largest-selling car manufacturer is tracing the same path, ergo, has teased the Deca Edition Swift via this latest video.

Formerly, at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the limited-edition Swift had been showcased as a customized car with a bulk of cosmetic variations. A couple of them were the darkened alloy wheels, livery graphics getting ‘10’ on the doors upfront and a sportier body tool. Inside the cabin, a touchscreen infotainment arrangement, leather upholstery painted in all black with a red contrast made the visual presence look more appealing. As per the official sources of the company, some of them are going to be inherited by the special-edition Swift Deca.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Deca Teased

Describing the 20-second teaser video, the next-gen model gets the key fob, which is probably based upon the top Z-trim. The special-edition Swift likes to pack the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel trims that is residing inside the current model.

As far as the launch is concerned, Maruti could certainly make it up very soon. As its popular hatch has recently witnessed a sudden fall in sales, the carmaker is hoping that the new offering could cover the figures up. According to the plans, the upcoming Swift will make its international debut in September this year, which means the Deca will be the final special-edition version India will get for the current Swift.
