Maruti Suzuki To Take More Time For Vitara Brezza Delivery

The reports have been confirmed by the Autocar official that the recently launched Vitara Bezza has received a wooping booking of up to 5600 units since its launch. This made the carmaker to extend the waiting period by 6-8 weeks. As of now, the customers have to wait longer in order to receive their much anticipated crossover Brezza.

Presently. the manufacturing of the compact SUV Vitara Brezza is being carried out at the company’s Gurgaon plant and the company has delayed the production due to the recent agitation in the state. The plant was shut down for few days and this has hampered the production rate badly. so, the waiting is likely to be extended by 2 months. Anyways, the response from the customers is overwhelming.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza comes powered by a 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine, capable of producing 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. It is further paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is claimed to deliver an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 24.3 km/l. The company has produced seven variants of the model and comes with a price range of INR 6.99 lakhs to INR 9.68 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

Regarding the actual delivery dates of the car, the company stated that the first customer delivers will be carried out by the end of this month and the dealerships will get the units by 25 March. The automaker is focused towards the production therefore, the car is unavailable for test drive at this moment.
