Maruti Vitara Brezza, which made its debut at 2016 Auto Expo, is now available for advance booking for the prospective buyers. The pre-booking can be confirmed for a token amount of INR 21,000 at the brand's dealership. Reports also say that the process of pre-order can be cancelled and the amount will be fully returned to the customers even after the launch.
Maruti Vitara Brezza is the first SUV car, which is designed and developed under the guidance of company's own plant in India and lead by Mr CV Raman, MSI Executive Director of Research & development. The car is yet to be launched, which is likely to happen in the following months. The price could also be slightly low because of brand in-house product and would be tagged between INR 5.5 Lakhs to INR 8.2 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Mechanically, the car will be available in 1.3-litre four cylinder, a multi-jet engine that generates 88.75 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. The transmission will come fitted with a 5-speed manual unit. Besides this, another option could also be offered in future with petrol unit. The model is also offered with safety features like driver side airbags as standard attachments in all variants.
Six variants of this dual color SUV will be available labeled in its signature alphabetical method, namely LDi, LDi(O), VDi, VDi(O), ZDi, and ZDi+. When launched, the car will definitely hit the likes of Ford EcoSports, Hyundai Creta and Mahindra TUV 300.
