Finally, the much awaited compact SUV Maruti Vitara Brezza has made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. The model had been teased various times through teaser images and videos, but this is the first time that it has been showcased with a detailed look. Some reports have already revealed that it will be available in six variants namely LDi, LDI (O) VDI, VDI (O) ZD(i) and ZDi (O).

Starting with the exterior, it carries a muscular stance with a beefy fascia highlighting a pair of projector headlamps integrated with DRLs. The bumper houses a plastic cladding, which further contains a wide air dam, silver skid plate and a pair of fog lamps. Other prominent elements include dual tone exterior paint shade, dual tone exterior rear view mirrors, rear windscreen wiper, roof rails, and two-piece tail lamps.
Interior boasts of hi-tech equipments like SmartPlay infotainment system, push button start, cruise control, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera and much more. Safety of the occupants is served by dual front airbags, ABS and EBD as standard, which is seen in most of the Maruti offerings. Mechanically, the Vitara Brezza is packed with a 1.3 litre diesel engine, while a petrol motor could be seen at a later date.
