Maruti Vitara Brezza May Offer Automatic Gearbox Later This Year

People with a need of relaxing their arms while driving and to ease the operations which they have to perform in a busy city traffic ride can now enjoy the privilege of an Automatic gearbox in Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The company has shown a bright sign towards the AMT variant of Vitara Brezza to be launched in India close to the end of this year.

Recently Maruti Suzuki showcased the Vitara Brezza AMT variant in 2016 Indonesia Auto Show last month, which has given doubtful clues whether this same Vitara Brezza with AMT gearbox will likely to appear on the Indian shores sooner or later.

From the sources, it has been speculated that Maruti will be developing their own AMT gearbox units as an In-house production which will ultimately take the cost of the vehicle to a slope. While the Maruti itself denied all these facts and cleared that there is no near future plan to take a switch from there long consistent provider, Magneti Marelli, there AMT gearbox unit producer and supplier.

To recall, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is equipped with a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that is engaged with a 5-speed manual gearbox, developing a decent 89bhp of power and delivering 200Nm of maximum torque. Not to worry, the AMT gearbox won't be affecting these figures.

And for the other specs, it will continue to sport the cooled glove box, Apple CarPlay & Smart Connect, touchscreen infotainment system, piano black center console and manual Maruti Vitara Brezza's all-black interior. Going outside towards the exterior part, those faux skid plates, roof rails, under-body plastic cladding, LED guide lights, projector head-lamps, floating roof design will continue to entertain the customers.
