Massimo Tamburini Dream Bimota Ended

Italian motorcycle company, Bimota which was a dream of Massimo Tamburini in Giaccaglia, on the outskirt of Rimini, has been abandoned. As the sources suggest that the production unit has been shifted 100 yards away from the old place. Massimo Tamburini configured Bimota in 1973 with his technical and styling excellence. While, the name of the company had been entitled from the initials of its three founding fathers- Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri, and Massimo Tamburini.

Globally, the bike maker has been popular for manufacturing bikes in the niche segment of an uber rich audience. Developed on highly radical frames the bikes with equipped cycle parts and featured bodywork seem exotic. Other than this, Bimota had also been engaged in circuit racing during its early years with the bikes packed with cutting edge technological aspects.

During the turn of millennium owing to series of misfortunate events the brand going bankrupt. Since then, Bimota has been changing hands, and keep on manufacturing new bikes and going bankrupt over and over again.

As the brand has currently stopped production at its facility in Italy, though the spare parts of the latest Bimota models have been piled up there, including the BB3. Well, Bimota experience with its previous investors were not good, still, we can expect Bimota will find new investors to run the brand having great value.
