McLaren P1 GTR Production Version To Debut at Geneva Show 2015

Debuted last year in August, McLaren P1 GTR prototype is now ready to hit the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2015 in production model form. The car is going under intense testing on the European and Middle East roads to make sure that everything is fine with it. The production model has been developed with a carbon fiber monocoque to make even 90 KG lighter than the current outgoing P1 model. The other features of the car include rood snorkel, air intake cavity for engine, battery & electronics housing, increased front track by 80 mm, more aggressive front spoiler, re-profiled low temperature radiator ducts and active aerodynamic flaps as well.

Moreover, the car will also have a new racing suspension, re-positioned wing mirrors, door mounted radiator channels and others as well. There would also be some improvement in the output power as the car will be offering net 1000 PS or 986 bhp power compared to the 903 bhp of the current road car.

The launch date of this car hasn't been confirmed nor the production date, but the production model will be displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as we told you earlier in the post. Stay tuned with us to get more information about this ultra powerful McLaren P1 GTR.
