Mercedes-Benz A Class Facelift Arrives In India

The NGCC (New Generation Compact Cars) frame based cars from the German auto-maker Mercedes-Benz accounts for the 20% of the car sales. Now, after much sales generation year 2014, the company is making its efforts to enhance the profit and thus has launched the facelift of A Class in India today. The car has been launched with some mechanical and a few cosmetic changes at the starting price of INR 25.95 Lac Ex-Showroom. The company might also introduce a mid-life facelift of the car for the international level as well and will be available in the 2 engine models in India with one each in petrol and diesel.

The A180 sport petrol model is powered by the 1.6 Litre 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine that is able to generate 121 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. On the other hand, the A200 CDI has the same 2.2 Litre turbocharged engine as available with new CLA as well, though produces 134 bhp power and 300 Nm of torque. Other standard features of this facelift of the model are panoramic sunroof and re-designed 16-inch alloy wheels as well.

The price of petrol model starts from INR 25.95 Lac Ex-Showroom and 26.95 Lac Ex-Showroom for diesel version. Well, the cars do have good features and power to lure customers and will be hoping for the same result as of last year as well.
