In order to further expand its portfolio across the nation, Mercedes-Benz India has recently inaugurated a new workshop in Mangalore. This new facility is named Sundaram Motors. Currently, the German car maker has 23 service stations in Southern part of the country, ergo making it the largest service provider luxury car brand.
Located on the Bangalore Highway, BC Road, it is spread across 27,237 sq.ft. Mercedes setup this new service station with a total investment of Rs 5.5 crore and will be handled by Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.
Moving on the details of the plant, it has a capacity of servicing 150 cars in a month with six service bays at its disposal at all times. Besides, the service station also features brand’s new ‘Digital Service Drive’ using the latest communication device, and video calling.
The German based luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has the highest sales and service outlets in the country with the total 86 dealerships in 40 cities pan India.
