Mercedes-Benz India Achieves Highest Sales Figure in FY 2015-16

Mercedes-Benz India has experienced a good growth in the sales this year in comparison to last few years. The automaker has sold up to 13,558 units in the FY 2015-16. The company has emerged as a great brand in the luxury car market.

The company saw an amazing response from the Indian consumers in the first three months of 2016. The carmaker was able to sell around 3,622 cars till date. Despite facing a severe ban on the 2000cc diesel car sales in the delhi region due to the Government regulation, the carmaker headed up with the positive growth in the country.

It is believed that the carmaker has been able to achieve such significant results due to the launch of the E-Class and the C-Class models, which appeared with amazing charm and design layout. The models were able to steal the consumer hearts. The automaker has also promised to introduced more models by the end of this year such as the S-Class and the Maybach.

Commenting on this amazing result, Mr Roland Folger, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “It is a significant achievement for us, as we have maintained our growth momentum in Q1 2016, despite facing multiple market challenges. We have been able to compensate the negative sales impact in the Delhi and NCR market, with a strong double digit growth achieved in most other markets across the country. This strongly underlines the fact that luxury car buyers increasingly prefer Mercedes-Benz.”
