Mercedes-Benz Introduces Limited Night Edition of A-Class And B-Class

Mercedes-Benz has launched the ‘Night Edition’ of the A-class and the B-Class Indian line up. Both the series are the most affordable offerings from the German carmaker in India and this special edition will be limited to 100 units of each. Also, Mercedes is offering the Night Edition at a lower price than the outgoing variants of A-Class and B-Class.

Since it is just an additional edition, the updates are limited to the aesthetics of the cars. On the outside, the noteworthy updates include blacked painted wing mirrors, black hubcaps and company’s signature dual slat diamond grille with blacked-out air dams. Moreover, it gets a new 17-inch, five-spoke alloys wheels and a chrome tipped dual-exhaust pipes.
The interior remain identical to that of the outgoing models. And the highlights of the cabin include ‘ARTICO’ artificial leather, electrically operable seats, and an eight-inch smart infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Mechanically, both the updated versions remain unchanged and continue to get power from the 1.6-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel mills. The petrol motor is good for 122 PS and 200 Nm, while the diesel engine produces the 136 PS and 300 Nm. For transmission, all the models come with Mercedes’ 7-Speed 7GTRONIC unit and feature four different driving modes - Comfort, Eco, Sport and Individual.
