The latest car in the fleet of luxury vehicle by German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is their GLA 45 AMG, which just has been launched today at an extravagant price of approx INR 70 Lac ex-showroom Mumbai. The car also extends the AMG fleet of the company India after the successful launch and sale of other cousins like CLA 45 AMG, E 63 AMG, ML 63 AMG, SLK 55 AMG and others as well. The reason behind this AMG-focused strategy of the company is the growth of nearly 150 % in the sales of these AMG cars in India. The company defines this GLA 45 AMG as the performance-oriented version with the best engine available.
The car gets the same engine as CLA 45 AMG, that is a 2.0 Litre 4-cylinder turbocharged oil mill, producing 360 bhp power and whooping 450 Nm of torque. The car is mated with the 7-speed dual clutch AMG SPEEDSHIFT gearbox with the 4MATIC system distributing the power to its all 4 wheels. The car gets to 100 km/h from none within 4.8 seconds along with the top speed of 250 km/h which is electronically limited.
Talking about the features, the car has tuned bumpers, speed sensitive steering, new braking system with cross-drilled and ventilated brakes alongside 3-stage ESP system as well. Inside, the car gets all the latest features which you're capable to think off in a Mercedes-Benz car.
